Creating Kensinger Donnelly has been an extraordinary
pilgrimage. After seven years of real estate workout experience
with Wells Fargo Bank, I joined my father in a family business that
he started back in the 1950's. The relationship that evolved was
the beginning of what has turned into a unique combination of
partnership and stewardship in an entrepreneurial setting. It has
been an exciting challenge to try to unify the family, business,
and community components of my life into one coherent mission.
I am now part of a team at Kensinger Donnelly which draws on my
institutional experience and combines with our entrepreneurial
environment to serve our tenants in a comprehensive manner. I think
that we are different because we work with our tenants to make sure
that not only are their premises suitable but that they have a
workable business plan. We take an active role in trying to make
our tenants successful. This consulting role has proven not only
profitable but rewarding. This work has translated well into
serving our community by helping non-profits in the same situation
as our tenants as we help them discern a better organizational
structure, focus on mission, and create better financial planning
and accounting systems.
I have a distinct role as a steward for my family, my partners,
my co-workers, and my community. Recognizing this role and
developing it into our company mission has rejuvenated me and given
me a much stronger sense of purpose and engagement in our work
which is both exciting and meaningful.
